Measure Output Voltage LDO Regulator


1. Output Voltage

Objective 

To see the actual value of output voltage Vout(E) compared to the set output voltage Vout(S).

  • Vout(E) is actual output voltage 
  • Vout(S) is set output voltage

 

Condition

  • Vout(S) = 2.5V
  • Vin >= Vout(S) + 2V = 2.5 + 2 =4.5V
  • Iout = 30mA
Then R load (R4) = Vout(S)/Iout = 2.5/30mA = 2.5/0.03 = 83.33 ohm

Procedure

Sweet input voltage V2 from 0V to 12V and probe output voltage (R4).
