 Objectiv

To see the actual value of output voltage VOUT(E) compared to the set output voltage VOUT(S).

  • VOUT(E) is actual output voltage 
  • VOUT(S) is set output voltage

 

Condition

  • VOUT(S) = 1.5V
  • VIN = VOUT(S)+ 1.5V = 3V (for this case, because our LDO model has higher dropout)
  • IOUT = 30mA the RL= VOUT(S) / IOUT = 50Ω

Procedure


Sweep VIN from 0 to 5V and probe VOUT and IOUT.

 Result

 

While input voltage (VDD) = 3V then output voltage VOUT(E) = 1.497V and IOUT = 29.94mA
